Some medical institutions, especially in the north of the peninsula, have been turned into military field hospitals for the wounded and injured Russian military.
Over the past two months, an acute problem has arisen in the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula in obtaining timely medical services. The situation is similar in the city of Sevastopol, where the Russian military is brought.
This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.
According to her, residents of Crimea cannot receive basic medical services in a timely manner.
“In addition, the occupier is sending medical staff from the peninsula to the temporarily occupied territory of mainland Ukraine. Information has been received that a group of 30 medical workers, including orthopedists, traumatologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, was sent to the ORDO,” she noted.
Some doctors have also been moved to the village of Mangush to provide assistance in the frontline area.
Recall that Zelensky explained whether it is realistic to take back Crimea and the occupied territories.
