Blizzard has banned the use of the word “Azov” in its games, as it considers it to be associated with Nazism and war crimes. The player Artyom told about this on the Ukrainian Gik page.
On one of not the most beautiful days, Artyom discovered that he was blocked from communicating in the Diablo Immortal game, and the name of his Azov clan was changed to a technical one. He contacted the support service, where he was told that the name of the clan violated the Code of Conduct. And they suggested using a different clan name.
Artyom was not satisfied with this answer, he insisted that the name of the clan did not violate the rules, but was the historical name of the territories adjacent to the Sea of Azov. Therefore, Artyom demanded that the clan be returned to its previous name. This was followed by a new response:

Thus, the Blizzard support service completely repeats the words of Russian propaganda.

The editors of ITC.UA contacted Artyom. He clarified that he spoke with Blizzard’s European support service (as indicated on the site). After receiving such an unsatisfactory response, he also additionally contacted the American support service. At the time of preparation of the material, the answer from her has not yet been received.
Blizzard has banned a professional Hearthstone player for a year for political statements, Epic Games said it will not follow such a practice
