In the temporarily occupied territories, the Russian military commit arbitrariness: they do not allow civilians to use medical services.
In general, the occupiers prevent the import of medicines from the territories controlled by Ukraine, expel locals from hospitals to treat their wounded, and take out medical equipment.
This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Corresponding cases were recorded in Zaporozhye, Kharkiv, Kherson and Lugansk regions.
From the infectious diseases department of Starobilsk , Luhansk region, the invaders took out all the equipment, in particular, ventilators necessary for critical cases of COVID-19.
In the regional anti-tuberculosis dispensary in Volchansk , Kharkiv region, patients with an open form of tuberculosis were denied medical care and kicked out into the street. The hospital is filled with wounded Russians. Medical personnel are forced to treat the invaders. At the same time, all doctors undergo a polygraph test. Those who do not pass are forcibly sent to the front line.
And in Balakliya , all hospitals are filled with wounded invaders. Medical personnel are forced to work. Ukrainians who remained in the temporarily occupied territory were left without medical care.
In the premises of the Pohovsky Central District Hospital , Zaporozhye region, the occupiers set up an ammunition depot. Staff are prohibited from treating local residents.
Doctors of the Oleshky district hospital and the city hospital of Hola Pristan , Kherson region, are forced to treat the occupiers. Medical workers were forbidden to evacuate.
“Citizens who remained in the occupied territories are practically cut off from medical services. Establishments are closing, there are not enough doctors, the delivery of medicines from territories controlled by Ukraine is prohibited,” the report says.
