There is not a single hospital left in Chernihiv that has not been damaged by the occupiers.
The Russian invaders in Chernihiv destroyed all the medical institutions in the city, three of them cannot be restored.
This was stated by the deputy head of the health department of the Chernihiv OVA Tatyana Lebedeva on the air of the telethon .
According to her, since February 24, Chernihiv hospitals have been accepting the wounded with mine-explosive injuries. Lebedeva specified that there were days when 50-60 injured were received every hour.
The doctors coped with the provision of assistance, completed training courses the day before and were ready to provide assistance even in such conditions.
“Unfortunately, now there is not a single hospital in the city that has not experienced destruction. Unfortunately, three medical institutions cannot be restored, because they are completely destroyed: this is the regional TB dispensary, this is the cardio center, which was hit by an air bomb on March 3, which killed 50 people, and a diagnostic center for helping Chernobyl victims. In addition, all the windows in the city hospital No. 2 were smashed after a mortar attack and we covered them with paper and wood,” she said.
Recall that in Chernihiv, more than 700 civilians were killed by the invaders .
