Despite the fact that the PS Store in Russia is currently not working, the ability to top up the PSN wallet and pay for the PS Plus subscription using top-up cards is still present. In this regard, information about the Russian prices of the updated PS Plus subscription looks especially interesting, which now includes three different tariffs with access to a huge catalog of PS1 / PS2 / PSP and PS4 / PS5 games – about 700 pieces in total.
The PS Plus Basic plan includes three free games per month, online access, exclusive discounts, cloud saves and 19 games from the PS Plus Collection. This is an analogue of the current PS Plus, to which all subscribers will be transferred by default. The prices are the same:
1 month – 529 rubles;
3 months – 1399 rubles;
12 months – 3299 rubles.
PS Plus Extra includes all the same features as Basic but adds a catalog of 400 PS4 and PS5 games to the subscription. How many of them will be available at launch is unknown, but Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11 and Returnal have already been announced. Prices:
1 month – 729 rubles;
3 months – 2139 rubles;
12 months – 5299 rubles.
And finally, the maximum tariff “PS Plus Lux”, which adds to everything else a catalog of games from PS1 / PS2 / PSP with the ability to download on consoles and run in backwards compatibility. Also promised exclusive access to trial versions of games. Prices:
1 month – 805 rubles;
3 months – 2599 rubles;
12 months – 6049 rubles.
Unfortunately, there is currently no backward compatibility with PS3, and the ability to play PS3 games via the “cloud” in our country will not be available in the near future.
It is expected that the updated service will be launched in Russia simultaneously with the European region – on June 22. By this time, prices may be adjusted several more times, and the launch of the service may not take place at all. But even if the service is not launched officially, users will be able to purchase a subscription from another region and register it for themselves on a new account. The question of price, in this case, will remain open.
