Hollywood actress and UN Special Envoy for Refugees Angelina Jolie visited Ukraine over the weekend.
The visit of the Hollywood star, which made Russian propagandists sick , was widely covered in the press. Angelina herself said that her visit was private, she tried to keep the trip as secret as possible, and members of her entourage signed an agreement prohibiting them from disclosing any details.

Angelina’s statement appeared on the Daily Mail , which she made after her visit to Ukraine. The actress said: “I am proud to see the resilience, courage and dignity of the Ukrainian people. It is terrible to see the impact the war has on an entire generation of Ukrainian children.”
Recall that the mother of six children visited the city of Borislav in the Lviv region, where she visited the Harmony training and rehabilitation center. It is reported that local officials did not know anything about Jolie’s visit until her arrival.
A huge number of photos of the Hollywood star scattered across social networks, people enthusiastically wrote that Jolie’s visit was a pleasant surprise for little Ukrainians, with whom she willingly hugged and took pictures. Angelina stayed in Ukraine for two days and on the first of May she went back to the USA.
