Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi became parents in September 2021. And last Friday, baby Sienna was christened in a secret ceremony.
The family event took place on April 29 at the Royal Chapel in St. James’s Palace in a private ceremony. On this day, the British royal family celebrated another significant day – the 11th wedding anniversary of Prince William and Duchess Catherine.
Unfortunately, no photos from Sienna’s christening have been released as Beatriz and Edoardo keep their daughter out of the public eye.
It is known for certain that Beatrice’s father, Prince Andrew, was among the guests at the ceremony (photos of the Duke of York leaving the chapel were published on the Daily Mail ), as well as his mother, Sarah Ferguson, and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie. Queen Elizabeth II most likely did not come to the christening, as she is having difficulty with mobility. The monarch herself, we recall, celebrated her 96th birthday last month.
Recall that Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, baptized her son Augustus in November together with Zara Tindall’s son, Lucas, and many wondered why Beatrice did not want to baptize her daughter that day. But Sienna was only two months old at the time, and it’s likely that Beatrice wanted to wait a little longer.
