After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and the destruction of cities throughout Ukraine by the Russian army, not only hundreds of thousands of people, but also their pets were left homeless. Some of them were abandoned or forced to leave by their owners, others were simply lost.
Kyiv photographer Konstantin Sova went to the Kyiv region, to the de-occupied settlements – Gostomel and Gorenka, where he took a series of photographs of homeless cats.

“Seals are in your feed. Most of these animals are abandoned or lost. They are located in Gostomel and Gorenka, about 20 minutes drive from Kyiv,” the photographer signed the pictures.
Konstantin also wrote that he saved the places where he met these poor fellows on a Google map, so if you want to shelter one of them, contact the photographer to clarify the coordinates.
