The six-episode series is set to premiere on May 27. The action will take place 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, when Obi-Wan has become a hermit on Tatooine and is watching young Luke from afar. The series will tell how the Empire controls the galaxy, and the Inquisitors hunt down the surviving Jedi. By the way, the Inquisitors will first appear in the official Star Wars MCU, although they have appeared in various stories in the expanded universe.

Appear in the series and Hayden Christensen, the performer of the role of Darth Vader, and the return of Darth Maul is not worth waiting for. Director Deborah Chow stated that the character would not be included in the series.
