With the release of the flagship Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has equipped it not only with the latest Android 12, but also with a lot of software features. Particularly notable among these are the new camera features, some of which the company has begun adding to previous smartphones. On the official forum, the company announced the start of the rollout of the update, which includes the following features:
- Improved night portrait (Galaxy S21, S20, Note20, Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3);
- Improved auto framing (Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Z Flip LTE);
- Improved video call effects (Galaxy S21, S21 FE, S20, Note20, Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Z Flip LTE now, and until the end of June for Galaxy S10, S10 Lite, Note 10, Note 10 Lite, Z Fold);
- Camera quality improvement in third party apps (Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Fold3, Z Flip3).
The latter implies some optimization technologies that minimize the gap in the quality of pictures taken directly in third-party applications relative to those taken in the standard Camera. Well, a nice bonus for Galaxy Z Fold owners will be the introduction of the proven Expert RAW application. The rollout of the update has already begun in South Korea, which means it will soon reach international devices.
