In Japan, the top-end smartphone Sharp Aquos R7 is presented. This model is notable for a number of parameters, and is completely incomparable with some global models. For example, Aquos R7 received a screen with a maximum frame rate of 240 Hz, and it varies over the widest range from 1 to 240 Hz in 1 Hz increments. Global flagships cannot yet boast of such. The display is OLED, made using IGZO technology. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
The novelty is built on SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory. Where did the value of 1.25 TB of memory come from? It’s simple: unlike most other flagships, Aquos R7 supports memory cards up to 1 TB.
Of course, the device has a 5G modem, and there is also a standard headphone jack, which has disappeared from the world’s flagships for a long time. At the same time, the new Sharp is protected from dust and water in accordance with the degree of IP68.
Neither the Galaxy S22 Ultra, nor even the iPhone 13 Pro, has an inch image sensor, but the Aquos R7 does. Moreover, Leica specialists worked on the main camera. The module also uses a quality Leica Summicron lens. Embedded in the center front camera – with a sensor with a resolution of 12.6 megapixels.
Sharp Aquos R7 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, supports wireless charging, is equipped with stereo speakers and runs Android 12. The novelty will go on sale in July, prices will be announced closer to that time.
