Every day, the royal account publishes a new photo of the monarch in honor of her platinum anniversary of reign.
Queen Elizabeth II’s Instagram campaign launched last week, announcing that over the next 70 days, as we count down to the #PlatinumJubilee Celebration Weekend, there will be “photos of the day” by the Queen, each representing a year in her 70th reign. Majesty.
Another picture is dated 1997.

Dressed in their characteristic Tudor uniform of red, white and yellow, the yeomen are distinct from the Beefeaters and play a ceremonial role in many royal occasions.
