The picture was shown on the screen to the song “If there was no war.”
On May 9, Russia’s main propaganda channel, Channel One, hosted a traditional concert called Lessons of History, during which the Kremlin’s favorites sang old Soviet songs. During the performances of all the artists, there were many uniformed dancers on the stage, and black and white photographs were shown on a huge screen behind them, which, presumably, were supposed to depict Soviet citizens who were separated by the Second World War.
However, during the performance of the singer Zara, the world-famous couple of American robbers Bonnie and Clyde, who were killed before the start of World War II and on another continent, were shown on the screen.
