ASUS Announces Vivobook S14 X OLED Laptop with Intel Alder Lake and AMD Ryzen 6000 Processors, 2.8K 120Hz Screen

ASUS has announced the Vivobook S14 X OLED laptop, which will come with Intel and AMD processors and boast a 2.8K display. According to available data, the novelty will go on sale in the second quarter of this year.

ASUS Vivobook S14 X OLED is equipped with a 14.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels. A panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 550 cd / m² is involved. It is reported to support the DCI-P3 color space at the level of 100%, as well as the presence of a certificate of compliance with the VESA Display HDR True Black 500 standard, which indicates high color accuracy.

The novelty will be offered with an Intel Core i7-12700H or Core i5-12500H processor in combination with integrated Iris Xe graphics. An AMD Ryzen 6000-series processor option will also be available. The RAM is represented by two DDR4 modules with a capacity of 4 GB each – one is soldered on the board, and the second can be replaced with an 8 GB module. For storage, a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive is provided.

The Vivobook S14 X is powered by a 70Wh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapters are provided. There are two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, as well as one each USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A and HDMI 2.0. To connect headphones, you can use a standard 3.5 mm jack.

The novelty weighs 1.63 kg and will be available in three colors: Midnight Black, Solar Silver and Sandy Grey. The cost of ASUS Vivobook S14 X OLED will be announced closer to the start of sales.
