Lenovo introduced the flagship gaming laptop Legion 7 (16ARH7A), fully built on the AMD platform. The novelty offers fresh Ryzen 6000 (Rembrandt) processors based on the Zen 3+ architecture and Radeon RX 6000M mobile graphics cards.
As a basis, the system is ready to offer a choice of one of two processors: an 8-core Ryzen 9 6900HX with a frequency range of 3.3 to 4.9 GHz, or an 8-core Ryzen 7 6800H with a frequency of 3.2 to 4.7 GHz . Both chips are equipped with integrated graphics cores Radeon 680M. In the older model of the processor, the “embedding” operates at a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz, in the younger one – up to 2.2 GHz.
The laptop is equipped with DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 solid-state drives, but the manufacturer does not indicate their volumes.
As a discrete graphics subsystem, it offers the Radeon RX 6850M XT with a GPU frequency of up to 2275 MHz and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory or the Radeon RX 6700M with a GPU frequency of up to 2300 MHz and 10 GB of GDDR6. Both accelerators are built on the Navi 22 graphics chip and have a maximum power consumption of 150 watts.
New Legion 7 (16ARH7A) is equipped with a 16-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is available in two configurations. Both are IPS-based, 2560×1660 pixels, 500 cd/m2 peak brightness, 3ms response time, and are DisplayHDR 400 certified. However, one display also offers Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support via FreeSync Premium, while the other does not have.
The laptop measures 358.1 × 263.1 × 19.4 mm and weighs 2.5 kg. In standalone mode, the system runs on a 99.99 Wh battery. The manufacturer did not disclose the prices and availability of the Legion 7 (16ARH7A) gaming laptop.
