There were a lot of people who wanted to buy a new stamp about the Russian ship, which will go on sale in a matter of hours , – from the very morning of May 23, a huge queue lined up at the Main Post Office in Kiev. By the way, the date of May 23 was not chosen by chance – today is the Day of the Marine Corps of Ukraine, as well as the 40th day after the “tragic death” of the same Russian military cruiser Moskva.
Stamps “Russian military ship ALL” will start selling from 14:00 in 1500 branches of “Ukrposhti”. Circulation – 5 million copies. The new stamp will be issued in two denominations: “Russian military ship… EVERYTHING! Death to the enemies! F for shipments by Ukraine and “Russian military ship … EVERYTHING!” Glory to the nation!” W for international shipments. The cost of the block (three stamps and three coupons) is UAH 69 and $4.5, respectively. In order to avoid speculation, a restriction was introduced – no more than 2 sheets of stamps in one hand.

According to Smelyansky, in the first week, a million stamps were handed over to the department – this is the entire circulation of the previous stamp. If all the stamps sell out in one day, then Ukrposhta will put up another million for sale before May 27. In addition, the stamps “Russian military ship VSIO” will also be distributed through online platforms – 6 online stores will be involved for their sales. On 4 Ukrainian sites, sales will begin on May 24, and on 2 more international sites on May 25-27. Titles and links will be announced later on the evening of May 23rd. It seems that Ukrposhta has learned a lesson from its past mistakes and failures during the sales of the hype original brand “Russian warship, go …!”, and this time they prepared much better.
Recall that the first military stamp of Ukrposhta – “Russian military ship, go …” – was released on April 12, and its design turned out to be prophetic to a certain extent, because the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, the missile cruiser Moskva, depicted on it on April 14, the Ukrainian military using rockets, the Neptune was sent to the bottom of the sea and turned into an object of the underwater cultural heritage of Ukraine (its wreckage is included in the register under the number 2064).
It can be recalled that Ukrposhta received 5 million hryvnias for a set of original stamps with a Russian ship at the Prozorro charity auction – these funds were transferred to a special account of the National Bank and directed to humanitarian aid. At the same time, co-founder of monobank Oleg Gorokhovsky organized his own charitable drawing of Ukrposhta hype stamps – in two days he collected UAH 8,754,000, rounded this amount up to UAH 10 million and transferred Sergiy Prytuli Charitable Foundation for the purchase of everything necessary for the needs APU.
Recently, the voting in the Diya app has ended, where Ukrainians have chosen the name of the next brand – Good evening, we are from Ukraine. More than half a million Ukrainians took part in the voting, and 35% of respondents voted for the winning brand. Smelyansky said that the work on the brand is starting, and next week a competition for the best design and voting for it should be announced. Ukrposhta also plans to issue stamps with the legendary An-225 “Mriya” and another one with the mine-clearing dog Patron.
Another fun fact: Smelyansky’s photo also drew attention to the cars parked on the sidewalk – the head of the parking inspectorate, Sergei Dubenko, said he had sent inspectors there.
