The International Computer Technologies Corporation has provided $242 million worth of digital support to Ukraine and will continue cooperation.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos , Minister of Digital Information Mikhail Fedorov received assurances of further support for our state from Microsoft President Brad Smith.
He announced this in his Telegram channel.
According to the minister, the Microsoft team plans to help Ukraine’s digital industry during the post-war recovery. Also, the Ukrainian government will cooperate with this international corporation of computer technologies in documenting the war crimes of the Russian Federation.
Another result of the agreements will be the official appearance of the xBox gaming division in Ukraine. “Finally, we will have Ukrainian accounts, and the consoles will have the Ukrainian language,” said Mikhail Fedorov.
The Minister stressed that cooperation with Microsoft has been going on for a long time. “They actively support Ukraine during the war: they were one of the first companies to suspend all new sales of products and services in Russia in early March and provide free cloud services for Ukraine until the end of 2022,” Fedorov said.
The Ukrainian minister recalled that Microsoft, through its initiatives, provided Ukraine with digital support for $242 million. “This includes financial grants, promotional campaigns, free access to the company’s products and services, equipment,” he listed.
Recall that the Andersen IT company, which is a certified partner of Microsoft, stopped working in the Russian Federation and broke off partnerships with Russian clients.
