Russian war crimes are confirmed by domestic and international investigations, as well as journalistic investigations.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine , at least 4,600 civilians have died at the hands of Russian occupiers, including 232 children.
This was announced by Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova during the opening of the Russia War Crimes House exhibition on Monday in the building that had been the Russian home in Davos for many years, Interfax-Ukraine writes .
“Typical atrocities committed by the Russian Armed Forces, documented by investigators and prosecutors, speak of deliberate brutality and violence against civilians,” she said.
She also stressed that these figures do not include data from the temporarily occupied territories.
Recall, the Russian military for the first time confessed to the investigator in the murder of a civilian Ukrainian.
