The State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced the launch of the mobile application “Reminder of Ukraine” – the official application of the State Emergency Service, with which you can quickly report on mining and / or detection of explosive objects. The mobile application is aimed at creating an information and communication platform between the State Emergency Service and citizens, aimed at taking measures to clear the territory of Ukraine. It was created by the state IT company “Infotech”

How the application works

  • In it, everyone can report a suspicious object found, take a photo of it, mark its coordinates, make a video. After that, you can track the status of this item and check if it has already been neutralized.
  • In addition, there is an interactive map with places where explosive objects have been found.
  • In the application you can find a list of the most common explosive items.

Where to download the app

A beta version is currently available. It can be downloaded from the link in Google Play and the App Store .

In just a few days of the operation of the Demining Ukraine application, specialists have already received 125 applications, 76 of them from the Kyiv region, they say in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the most optimistic forecasts, it will take 5-7 years to clear the entire territory of Ukraine, Deputy Interior Ministry of Ukraine Mary Hakobyan said on May 19 during the first meeting of the International Coordination Center for Humanitarian Demining established in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, almost 114,000 explosive items have been defused on the territory of our state. Including about 2 thousand air bombs.
