XboxEra podcast host Nick Baker, aka Shpeshal Nick, spoke in a recent episode about the possibility of a second postponement of the open-world fantasy action game Forspoken.
Recall that Square Enix has already postponed the premiere of Forspoken – from May 24 of this year to October 11 – however, according to Baker’s informant, it can do it again. But already for the sake of Final Fantasy XVI.
According to Baker’s source, Square Enix is considering rescheduling Forspoken to 2023 if the hotly anticipated Final Fantasy XVI can be released this year.
There is no official release date for Final Fantasy XVI yet (even with the list of target platforms, everything is not completely clear ), but the next trailer for the game, according to producer Naoki Yoshida (Naoki Yoshida), is already ready and will be released soon .
Forspoken is being created for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. According to the plot, Frey Holland ends up in the fantasy region of Athia, where, in order to survive, she will have to master magical abilities.
