“In terms of power, we are back to normal. In terms of functionality, I think we will reach all the functionality that we had initially before the cyber attack by the end of the week. As for the restoration of services, we are in normal mode. We recovered by 99.9% ,” said Mr. Moiseev during a conversation with reporters during the Startup Village conference in Skolkovo.

He also noted that the audience of video hosting returned to the indicators that were recorded before the hacker attack. Recall that on May 9, Rutube was subjected to the “most powerful cyber attack” in the history of the service. At the same time, the entire library, including user content, was successfully saved, the source code of the platform was also not damaged. However, the hackers managed to damage more than 75% of the databases and infrastructure of the main version of Rutube and 90% of backups and data recovery clusters. Despite this, video hosting returned to work on May 11, albeit with some restrictions.
