Xiaomi Pad 6 approved for Russia

Xiaomi has begun preparations for the start of sales in Russia of a new device that has not yet been officially presented. This is evidenced by records found in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The official debut of the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet is not expected in the very near future. However, the ECE certificate for the device has already been obtained.

The thematic unofficial Xiaomiu channel initially drew attention to the documents. EEC certification was passed by the model marked 22081283G. It is noted that the first four digits (2208) indicate the likely date of the official debut – August 2022. The documentation also confirms that we are talking about a tablet, and not about some other device from the Xiaomi ecosystem.

As usual, the ECE documentation does not provide further details about the devices. Nevertheless, obtaining certification indicates the approaching moment of the official announcement of the start of sales.
