Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian propagandists have been coming up with new fakes every day to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Experts from the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of fakes, manipulations and disinformation stuffing that the enemy produced during April 26.
This is stated in the message of the Center for Combating Disinformation in the Telegram channel.
List of fakes, misinformation and manipulations:
- According to the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Patrushev, “the number of Ukrainian migrants in the EU will grow to 10 million in the near future.” Given this, he reported on “the predicted worsening of the crime situation in Europe due to Ukrainian bandits.” Warning: This is misinformation!
- Despite the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting to protect the population from the enemy, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that “in the nursing home in the city of Liman, the militants have equipped a stronghold, and the staff and the elderly are being held as human shields.” Warning: This is fake!
- Russian propagandists reported that “near the Nikolaev Aircraft Repair Plant, neo-Nazis have installed radio-controlled explosive devices that they plan to blow up during a crowd of people and blame the RF Armed Forces for this.” Warning: This is manipulation!
Recall that on April 26, Russian mass media also circulated on the Internet the news about the alleged destruction of several military armed forces of Ukraine during the battle. However, the message of the enemy about the destruction of the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is another fake.
