Advisor to the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovich gave a new forecast regarding the events that may take place in the war between Russia and Ukraine in the near future.
As Arestovich predicts , fierce fighting may resume in June – early July 2022.
He stated this in an interview with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin on April 27.
“According to the new deadlines, it turns out that by the end of May – the beginning of June, Western weapons will arrive in commercial quantities that can change the balance of forces and means on a specific sector of the front . Perhaps by 2-3. And we, I think, by mid-June will receive armed with these weapons units that are ready to go on the offensive,” Arestovich said.
He added: “That is, the second half of June – the beginning of July – these are fierce battles, only the Ukrainian army will go on the offensive. During this time, the Russian army will try to create its own counter grouping: either to engage in oncoming battles or to defend.”
According to Arestovich, for this, the Russian leadership will drive the conscripts, who began to be called up on April 1.
Recall that earlier Aleksey Arestovich suggested that a full-scale war that the Russian Federation unleashed against Ukraine, will not be completed until the end of 2022.
He noted that the cessation of the offensive of Russian troops in the Donbass would not at all mean the end of the war. It, according to the adviser to the head of the OP, can continue until the New Year.
