The ZAMESTIM installation appeared in St. Petersburg, Russia. It was made from the first letters of the names of foreign brands that left the Russian market due to the invasion of Ukraine.
A photo of the “monument” to import substitution was published on the Web.
So, the Russians made the word “replace” from the first letters of Zara, Adidas, McDonald’s, Epson, Škoda, TotalEnergies, IKEA and MilkyWay. Who is the author of this masterpiece is unknown.
Ukrainians laughed at the art object on the Web. In the comments under the photo, some noted that Š in Škoda is read as “sh” and not “s” .
“Do they know that Skoda has this Sh?
“And in my opinion, it’s a great installation!))) An ideal monument to insanity. You can come here to cry at fate, at times, at your stupidity”,
“We’ll replace it? With what?”,
“And this is also the illegal use of trademarks. For this, you can lose weight for a hundred or two oil,” the Ukrainians wrote.
Recall that more than 200 companies refused to work in Russia or cooperate with the country and its citizens, supply their products and services there. Therefore, you can make many more words, except “replace” .
