Since Tuesday, April 26, the Russian invaders have banned entry to Mariupol, which is under siege, from Novoazovsk.
The city is closed to citizens of Ukraine. It is impossible to get into it without a certificate of passing the filtration. At the same time, Russians and residents of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” receive permission to enter without filtering for three days. The filtration certificate for all others is valid for only a week.
This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko.
The Russian military also restricted movement within the city. The invaders also announced a separate paper: permission to stay on the streets of Mariupol.
“The city is being turned into a real ghetto. The occupiers treat Mariupol residents as slaves, despite the pro-Ukrainian or pro-Russian views of the residents. Some concessions are made to the elderly and children. Everyone else is in the same state of constant psychological pressure,” the representative of the mayor’s office emphasized.
As reported, in Mariupol, Russian invaders force local men to clear rubble and dig mass graves for food . In the city, despite the statements of the occupiers about the presence of zhidka and water, the humanitarian situation remains difficult, and there is not enough food.
