Due to the gas pipelines and gas distribution stations destroyed by the Russian invaders, almost the entire Luhansk region was left without gas.
In the Lugansk region, residents of only six settlements use gas . In other cities and villages, there is no centralized gas supply in the homes of Lugansk residents due to the destruction of main gas pipelines and gas distribution stations.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Gaidai.
“Gas workers repair damaged areas every day. We try to regularly supply them with consumables, get new pipes from somewhere. Sometimes the question arises – what to bring first of all to the region: food or a new pipe of large diameter, so that there is something to cook this food on. There is gas in six cities and villages. However, in three of them not everywhere. Now there are 45.5 thousand families with blue fuel. Unfortunately, we can no longer repair some areas during the hostilities,” Gaidai said.
As for water supply, most of the pumping stations in the region are either destroyed or de-energized, the head of the region says.
According to him, there is no centralized water supply in Rubezhnoye, Popasnaya, and it is limited in Lisichansk, Novodruzhesk, Priville, and Severodonetsk.
There is no water supply to the settlements served by the Popasnyansky District Vodokanal.
Recall that today, April 27, the head of the Regional State Administration Serhiy Gaidai urged residents of the Luhansk region to evacuate as soon as possible and named the cities from where people would be taken to a safer region.
