The Israeli government has canceled the annual official parade for May 9th.
Israeli Minister for Migration Pnina Tameno-Shete announced the cancellation of the traditional parade, which is held in the country during the ceremony to celebrate the victory over Nazism on May 9.

Tameno-Shete called the war unleashed by the Kremlin in Ukraine a “delicate situation” that led the government to cancel the parade. This year’s traditional ceremony on Mount Herzl will focus on Jewish veterans’ contribution to the victory over Nazi Germany.
The Minister noted that the decision on how the traditional ceremony will be held this year was made jointly with the Israeli organizations of World War II veterans.
The day before, the Embassy of Ukraine reported on Facebook that following a meeting between Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk and Pnina Tameno-Shete, “the minister said that, despite the tradition of previous years, this year it was decided to refrain from public events and marches on May 9. in connection with Russian aggression against Ukraine”.
Recall that Israeli business will not cooperate with the Russian Federation in circumvention of anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Western countries, despite the fact that Israeli legislation does not provide for sanctions mechanisms, said Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky.
