The organizers of Roland Garros do not plan to exclude representatives of Russia and Belarus from participation in the tournament.
At the French Open, they will adhere to the principle of “strict neutrality” and will not follow the example of Wimbledon, where they decided not to allow Russians and Belarusians to compete.

It is noted that in France, Russian and Belarusian tennis players will perform under a neutral flag.
Also, the anthem of Russia and Belarus will not be included if any of the tennis players from these countries wins the men’s or women’s bracket of the tournament.
Roland Garros 2022 will take place from May 22 to June 6.
Recall that Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland supported the decision of the organizers of Wimbledon-2022 to remove Russian and Belarusian tennis players from participation in the tournament.
