There is a full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 06.00 April 28, 2022 on the Russian invasion

The enemy continues offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to establish full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and to keep the land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The enemy is increasing the pace of the offensive operation. The Russian occupiers are exerting intense fire in almost all areas. The greatest activity is observed in Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.

No significant changes were noted in the activities of enemy units in the Volyn and Polesye directions .

By maintaining an appropriate set of troops, the enemy is trying to ensure the maintenance of the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Seversk direction and prevent their movement to the Eastern Operational Zone.

In the Slobozhansky direction , the enemy grouping continues to inflict strikes and fire damage with artillery on the city of Kharkov.

The main efforts of the infidels are concentrated in the Izyum direction . With the forces of the existing units, the enemy is trying to carry out an offensive in the directions of Suligovka – Novaya Dmitrovka and Andreevka – Bolshaya Kamyshevakha.

In order to strengthen the advancing grouping in the city of Izyum, the invaders additionally moved units of the airborne troops, as well as up to 500 pieces of equipment.

In the Donetsk direction , the enemy grouping continues to conduct active operations on the line of confrontation. The main efforts are focused on cordoning off the group of troops of the Defense Forces.

To accomplish this goal in the Liman direction, the enemy has improved its tactical position and is trying to develop an offensive against the settlement of Liman. The invaders are carrying out preparatory measures to force the Seversky Donets River.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy is attacking the settlement of Orekhovo.

In the Avdeevsky direction , in order to capture Marinka and Ocheretino, the enemy exerts intense fire.

In the Kurakhovsky direction , with the support of artillery, the infidels are attacking in the directions of Staromayorskoye – Velikaya Novoselka and Lyubimovka – Zelenoe Pole.

In the Taurida direction , enemy units continue to carry out demonstration actions and maneuvers in order to mislead and prevent our troops from tipping over to other directions.

The invaders continue to use the Melitopol airfield for basing and flying Su-25 attack aircraft, Ka-52 attack helicopters and Mi-8 transport and combat aircraft.

In the Yuzhnobuzhsk direction , the enemy grouping is concentrating its main efforts on the directions Kherson – Nikolaev and Kherson – Krivoy Rog.

The enemy, as a result of assault actions, has entrenched himself in the area of u200bu200bthe settlement of Tavrichesky, is trying to carry out a fiery defeat on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandrovka and Novaya Zarya. In the areas of settlements Stanislav and Molodetskoye, units of rocket and cannon artillery are building up.

In order to correct and evaluate the results of fire damage, the enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance in the area of the Zaliv settlement.

“Over the previous day, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force and the Ground Forces hit eight air targets: one aircraft, one cruise missile and six operational-tactical UAVs. The Russian invaders continue to suffer losses on land. Only in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions In the past 24 hours, 6 enemy attacks were repulsed, 5 tanks, 1 artillery system, 22 armored vehicles, 1 vehicle and 1 anti-aircraft gun were destroyed,” the General Staff said.

Recall that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured five Russian servicemen , who are now testifying about the crimes of their commanders.
