On the night of April 28, the Russian military launched 50 airstrikes on Mariupol, including shelling Azovstal.
After the mass bombing, the invaders are trying to storm the plant.
This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko.
It became known that the invaders were transferring equipment towards Azovstal. Local residents report that the sounds of fighting are now being heard.
“From 12:00 o’clock, the invaders closed access in the Levoberezhny district from the Raduga park and along Pashkovsky street. Local residents report a large movement of equipment towards Azovstal and the sounds of fighting. The invaders continue to storm Azovstal after a mass bombardment at night,” – the message says.
Recall that Russian invaders also bombed a field hospital on the territory of Azovstal in Mariupol that night. As a result, the concrete structure of the building was damaged and fell on the wounded defenders who were at the hospital.
