President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities remind us that the fight against the invaders continues.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to hold the enemy.
Zelensky said this during a traditional video message on April 28.
“Russian missile strikes on Ukraine – on Kyiv, Fastov, Odessa, Khmelnitsky and other cities – once again testify: we can’t relax yet. We can’t think that the war is over. We still need to fight. We still need to drive out the infidels.
Today, the Russian army continued its attempts to advance in the east of our state, in the Donbass. Tries to advance in the southern regions.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the invaders. And I am grateful to each of our defenders, each of our defenders who hold positions. We do everything to help our army. To provide the military with all the necessary weapons,” Zelensky said.
The head of state also thanked foreign partners supporting Ukraine.
“Each time in contacts with partners, I emphasize that weapons for Ukraine right now, exactly of the types that we ask for, and exactly when we need them, are a salvation not only for our people. This is a salvation for all of you – for the whole of Europe. I am grateful to those partners who understand this. And who helps to convince others,” he said.
Recall that on the evening of April 28, the Russians launched air strikes on Kiev. One of the rockets hit a residential building.
