WBC heavyweight title holder Briton Tyson Fury has said he will never enter the ring with WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine.
Having knocked out his compatriot Dillian Whyte on the night of April 24, the “Gypsy King” announced his retirement. After that, there were discussions whether the eminent Briton really decided to hang up his gloves on a nail.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Fury confirmed his intentions to retire. He stated that because of this, his fight against Oleksandr Usyk would never take place. At the same time, Fury noted that if such a fight had taken place, he would have easily dealt with the Ukrainian.
“I was already the undisputed champion. I won every belt that could be won. I have nothing more to do. hit him all over the ring because he’s a bloated middleweight, ” Fury said .
Fury, 33, has 32 wins (23 by knockout) and one draw.
Earlier, Fury’s father said that his son has not yet said his last word in boxing. He is convinced that the “Gypsy King” will want to return to the ring for the fight for the title of absolute world champion with the winner of the rematch Usyk – Joshua.
