79-year-old Vinnitsa resident Nadezhda Radionova decided to get a patriotic tattoo for herself.
The grandmother stuffed a trident and two ears of corn on her leg, according to TSN .
The woman says she misses Ukraine, because she was forced to flee the war in her old age to Poland, where her granddaughter lives. She took her grandmother and gave her an idea for a tattoo. Hope did not hesitate for a long time.
She says that she chose such a drawing, because it symbolizes strong and courageous spirit – this is how she considers all Ukrainians and prays for their victory.
“I got a tattoo for Ukraine. Made by my granddaughter. I love Ukraine very much, I want peace,” says Nadezhda Radionova, who will celebrate her 80th birthday in August.
