In the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy is trying to introduce the scenario of 2014. But people have changed and do not want to live in occupation. The locals put up strong resistance.

This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar on the air of the All-Ukrainian telethon.

“In the territories occupied by the enemy, they (the invaders – ed.) are trying to gain a foothold, to implement the scenario that they implemented in 2014. We have information that they are preparing their pseudo-referenda, that they are trying to put their power there, to introduce the ruble there “, something else. But now they are much more difficult to manage than in 2014, despite the fact that, unfortunately, there are isolated traitors. And there is this fact. And at the same time, the majority are not ready to live in occupation and powerfully resist…”, she stressed.

Malyar added that the Special Operations Forces are engaged in the temporarily occupied territories and they do their work there.

“In this situation, I understand that I really want to ask, probably, what we (the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine – ed.) are doing for this. You should know that most of this information is classified, but, according to the law, we have Forces special operations units, which, among other things, have the right, or rather, should implement this particular part of the work in relation to the territories that are now temporarily occupied. And believe me, they are doing their work there,” the Deputy Minister of Defense summed up.

Recall that in the Zaporozhye region there is an intensification of hostilities by the Russians .
