The mayor of the city of Energodar, which was captured by the invaders of the aggressor country of Russia, Dmitry Orlov now works in Zaporozhye.
It is noted that the displacement was caused by cases of forced displacement of local authorities in the occupied territories. It was decided to organize the work of Orlov in the regional center so that the legitimately elected authorities of Energodar could work and manage the city more efficiently during martial law.

“Now we see such a trend that the occupiers are beginning to oust and, forcing our government, to cease the existence of communal institutions, energy supply institutions, life support. We cannot go for this, therefore we have taken measures to keep the city alive,” stressed the chairman of the Zaporizhia OVA Oleksandr Starukh .
He calls the situation in Energodar tense, because its territory has been under occupation for almost two months. According to Starukh, the Russians are putting pressure on local governments, heads of public utilities and school principals.
As reported, in Energodar, Zaporozhye region, 48-year-old deputy of the city council from the “Opposition Platform – During Life” Andriy Shevchik supported Russia’s aggression and agreed to head the again illegal authority of the occupiers. The traitor was informed of the suspicion of collaborative activities.
