Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that the Russian military had significantly slowed down their offensive in the direction of Izyum in the Kharkiv region, and there could be two reasons for this.
At the same time, the tactical actions of the Russian invaders in the Izyum direction did not stop.
Arestovich spoke about this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin on April 29.
“The Russian offensive in the Izyum region has slowed down. Why it has slowed down – two options: the first – they are retreating, the second – they are tired and do not advance, they simply replenish until they advance,” the adviser to the head of the presidential office said.
He noted that the tactical actions of the invaders in the Izyum direction did not stop, but the invaders stopped pressing.
Arestovich also said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day advanced somewhat in the north of the Kharkiv region and liberated several settlements.
Recall that on April 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the Kharkiv region, Russian invaders are trying to gain a foothold in the captured lines. In the Izyum direction, the invaders are building additional pontoon-bridge crossings across the Siversky Donets River.
