A group of unknown people was detained in Odessa: they planned to organize mass riots in the city on May 2.
The investigation established that representatives of the local criminals had agreements with the Russian special services. Odessans planned to destabilize the situation in the region.
This was reported in the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police.
A group of people intended to organize riots in the city. In particular, to arrange mass protests and riots, which “could lead to the undermining of statehood and are aimed at overthrowing the state system of Ukraine.” The date of the crime was supposed to be May 2.
The detainees seized:
- weapons, ammunition;
- grenades;
- communist paraphernalia;
- advertising brochures with forbidden symbols;
- instructions for conspiracy and surveillance activities.
As reported, at the railway station in Khmelnitsky on April 29, volunteers found suspicious persons with symbols of the aggressor state of Russia. We found a photo of one of the detainees in a Russian military uniform in front of a car with the “Z” symbol.
