Ukrainian group “Antitelya” and British star Ed Sheeran recorded a duet song.
The track, titled 2Step, will premiere on May 2. The soloist of the band Taras Topolya shared how the stars created the track.
In the telethon “United News”, the performer shared that it was Ed who proposed the collaboration.
“Remember how we recorded a video offer for him to take part in a charity concert in Birmingham? In the end, we were refused it. Not Ed himself, but the organizers of this event, since we were in uniform and held weapons in our hands, and they it did not fit with the concept of the event. And then after a few days, Ed’s team approached us with an offer to make this common song,” the star shared.
Topolya added that the team agreed, however, they did not know how to implement the idea, since Taras and his colleagues defend our country at the front.
“But we found options, of course, we couldn’t help but find them. Moreover, our friends, Dmitry Shmurak and the team shot a wonderful video sequence for this song while we were in Kharkov. We needed to record a particle of synchro, which we recorded right here in Kharkov, in the field, between the positions of our mouths,” the celebrity opened the curtain.
In addition, Topolya was intrigued that he was preparing a song with his wife Alyosha.
Recall that a fragment of the song “Antibodies” and Sheeran appeared on the Web. In the composition, the group will sing in Ukrainian.
