In the Lugansk region, due to the massive shelling of cities and villages, the remaining people are advised not to leave their homes; on memorial days it is forbidden to visit cemeteries.
In cities there is no electricity, water, communication interruptions. The occupiers are shooting at houses, knowing that civilians still live in them, according to TSN .
For a breath of fresh air and a ray of spring sun, a local woman comes to the threshold of the entrance when they are not shooting. “There is no money, but where will I go, with what, with this stick,” says 80-year-old Nina.
She stayed in front-line Severodonetsk with her tulips under broken windows, because the flowers survived, but there was no house – it suffered after hits by Gradov. Here everything around is broken, pieces of concrete are lying next to the most high-rise buildings – these were once ceilings. The houses were burnt down from the shells of the occupiers.
Despite the opportunity to leave, many citizens still refuse and remain under fire. Knowing that a shell can fly into their apartment every minute. “We are already used to it – we stand, we hear whistling, we know approximately where, and we sit, smoke,” says Uncle Vasily.
He, along with his neighbors, first sat out in the basement, and then, when he sent his children out of the city, he returned to the apartment. Eats from last year’s stocks of vegetables. “A man passed through a humanitarian aid – salted fish, and so that someone gave – no, they went further, there, excuse me, they also cleaned it out,” the man says.
You still need to run to the humanitarian aid, because it can be a one-way road. Many of the locals need not only food, but also medicines. It is very difficult to get medicine, and when it comes to getting help, the shelling is so powerful that no one dares to go beyond the boundaries of the yard.
The invaders fail to capture Severodonetsk, so it is simply destroyed from cannon artillery, “Gradov” and “Tornados”. “They are shelling civilian infrastructure and have repeatedly rescued people, taken out of the war zone people who were hiding in basements with young children. They saved us, because this is the genocide of the Ukrainian nation,” the military say.
Fighting is going on in neighboring Rubizhne and on the outskirts of Severodonetsk. The Russians do not take into account the losses and continue to go very often resorting to provocations. For example, they pass off their equipment as Ukrainian. “When the group left, there were two tanks with blue and yellow ribbons. They have insidious tactics, neglecting nothing and using local collaborators to show the trails, ”the fighters say.
Every day new houses are burning and people are dying. There is no gas in the houses, partly electricity and already water, the occupiers deliberately damaged the water supply with artillery. Andrey, in his old Zhiguli, while the lull wants to jump out of the city, there you can still draw water from the well. “It’s difficult, I got under fire, the glass flew out, the car was smashed. Every two days for water,” the man adds.
The city defends and does not give up. Every day, evacuation buses try to take someone away, but every time it becomes more and more difficult, and those who did not dare to leave on time are now forced to hope that our soldiers will be able to push the invaders back from Severodonetsk as far as possible so that enemy artillery cannot kill them .
