The Office of the Prosecutor General reported the suspicion of infringement on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (Part 3, Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) to the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, the official, being a representative of the authorities of the aggressor state, acting by prior agreement with other accomplices to implement a previously developed plan to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine, at an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council on February 21, 2022, publicly called for the recognition by Russia of the independence and sovereignty of controlled pseudo-entities “Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics”.

“The office of the Prosecutor General continues systematic work to bring to justice all Russian high-ranking officials involved in the encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the decision and conduct of war against it. Earlier, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and 8 other members were brought to criminal responsibility,” the statement says. in the message.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Recall that in the Donetsk region, a suspicion was reported to an ex-policeman who went over to the side of the occupiers.
