The State Emergency Service of Ukraine calls on Ukrainians to refrain from visiting cemeteries to honor the memory of deceased relatives and loved ones.
Emergency officials note that today Russia is trying to destroy the Ukrainian civilian population, so everyone should take care of their own safety.
The State Emergency Service reports this on its Facebook .
“It is everyone’s sacred duty to remember their loved ones who are no longer with us! But today, when Russia goes to great lengths to increase the number of civilian deaths, it is worth taking care of the safety of the living! Stay at home, light a candle, pray for the souls of the dead and your prayers will be answered,” the State Emergency Service stressed.
The rescue service warns:
- be aware of the danger of mining, especially in areas where active hostilities are taking place or have taken place (unexploded shells, trip wires, etc. may remain);
- do not create gatherings in cemeteries or temples;
- do not arrange a feast in the cemetery, do not drink alcoholic beverages, because there is a war going on in the country, so you should always be on your guard;
- be careful and do not lose vigilance;
- follow the news, statements and recommendations of the military administrations in your locality in order to have information about the situation in your city, town or village;
- observe fire safety rules using open flame sources;
- watch over your children, talk to them about the dangers of our time and teach them vital rules;
- in case of fire or detection of explosive objects, call 101!
Recall that in Trostyanka the enemy most of all mined cemeteries : more than 3 thousand traps have already been neutralized in the city.
