Ukrainian Katarina Zawatskaya became the winner of the 60,000th ITF in Zagreb in doubles.
In the decisive match, Katarina, in a duet with Anastasia Detiuk from the Czech Republic, defeated Lina Gercescu from North Macedonia and Irina Khromacheva – 2:1 (6:4, 6:7 (5), 11:9).
Tennis players spent 1 hour 56 minutes on the court. During this time, Zavatskaya and Detyuk did not complete a single ace and made one double fault.
For Katarina, this is the first doubles title in her career. Previously, she had only won tournaments in singles.
Recall that the Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska overcame the first round of the WTA 1000 elite tournament in Madrid.
