Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that over the past two or three weeks, several thousand more have come to help Russian troops in the Izyum direction. However, some of them run away, some are destroyed and only some try to fight.
To date, Russian troops in the Izyum direction have come up against a water obstacle that needs to be forced. Most likely, this offensive of the invaders is doomed to failure.
Arestovich spoke about this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin.
“The quality of the replenishment amuses me. During this so-called offensive, in two or three weeks, several thousand people entered Russian territory. And these several thousand people are the public, let’s say, with low social responsibility. These are not military specialists. not military specialists. They don’t go either to tank crews or BMP operators. This is a replenishment of the infantry. About 30% of them remain somewhere in a week , because some run away, some are destroyed, some try to fight, “said the adviser head of the OP.
He stressed that there are a lot of fighters in the Russian army who refuse to fight.
“The number of refuseniks is very large in the Russian troops. And these refuseniks are not for the sake of a red word or propaganda, this has become a real problem. It looks like they are dying in the Izyum direction ,” Arestovich noted.
He said that those Russian troops that remained in the Izyum direction would lose their combat effectiveness within two to three weeks and most likely there would be no replenishment.
“It is not enough for an army to survive accurate strikes against command posts. In principle, we thinned them out very much . And even the remaining troops lose their combat effectiveness from continuous offensives and heavy fighting for two to three weeks. New replenishment does not come in – as I understand it, he’s stupidly gone. We don’t see the troops. For four days on the main route, not a single truck, not a single soldier from Russian territory,” said the adviser to the head of the OP.
He said that when the Russian troops started in the Izyum direction, there were 25,000 of them. Now their exact number is unknown.
“I can’t even say that there is no such data. But I know that we have thinned out a lot,” Arestovich emphasized.
Recall that the Russian occupiers are trying to conduct an offensive along the line of confrontation. The most difficult battles now are in the Izyum region , near Popasnaya, Rubizhnoye and Severodonetsk, as well as in the north of the Kharkov region.
