Russian maps can no longer be used in the App Store. This is due to the fact that Visa and Mastercard left the Russian Federation, and before that SWIFT was turned off. The payment just won’t go through.
Earlier, Alphabet, which owns Google, was forced to take the same measure:
However, there is still a loophole through which you can pay for purchases and subscriptions in the App Store and Google Play. And in both cases, the payment is made from the account of your mobile number.
App Store
You can add a payment method by going to the following path on your iPhone: “Settings” → Your Apple ID (usually indicated by a name) → “Payment and Shipping” → “Add a payment method” → “Mobile phone”:
Next, go to the App Store, tap on your profile picture and select “Top up Apple ID”. After that, a window will appear with a fixed amount or with any other amount from 100 to 9999 rubles:
This is how you top up your Apple ID account. Money will be debited from it for purchases and subscriptions in the App Store, including iCloud.
Google Play
UPD: it looks like the way to bind a mobile phone was covered.
Here you also need to link a mobile phone for payment.
Go to Google Play. Tap on your profile picture on the main page and select “Payments and subscriptions” in the pop-up window. Then select “Add Carrier”. After that, you can easily buy games and pay for your subscriptions issued through Google Play:
Operators
In the case of MTS and MegaFon, money is withdrawn from the main account.
But with the “beeline” is more difficult – you need to replenish a special account. It is done like this:
- In the bank’s mobile application, go to the “Pay Internet” section.
- Choose Beeline.
- Enter your personal account.
The Beeline personal account for paying for purchases differs from your phone number in only two facts:
- It does not have +7;
- The first digit 9 in the number must be replaced by 6. That is, not +7 (9xx) xxx-xx-xx, but (6xx) xxx-xx-xx.
If you know how to replenish your account using Tele2, please write in the comments.
