As promised , on April 27, the American publisher Bethesda Softworks announced the start of the migration of users of its Bethesda.net launcher to the digital distribution service Steam.
To transfer games and wallet from Bethesda.net to Steam, you need to go to the migration page , link your Steam account to your Bethesda account (or log in to it) and click the process start button.
After a few minutes (this may take longer), the transfer will be completed and the content (games, add-ons, virtual currencies) purchased or received for free from Bethesda.net will appear in the associated Steam account.
How to transfer your save files to Steam (most often manually) is described in a separate note using the example of each game from the Bethesda Softworks service. Wolfenstein: Youngblood doesn’t support progress transfer yet.
There is no time limit for the library transfer to Steam, but launching games through Bethesda.net will only be available until May 11th. In connection with the move, five previously unreleased Bethesda projects have appeared in the Valve service – three of them are free.
