In conditions of war, shelling of civilians, it is very important to collect a first aid kit for small and adult family members.
What to put in a first aid kit if you have a long road ahead?
Children’s doctor Lidia Babich provides a list of drugs for adults and children who had to leave their parents’ home.
There is nothing superfluous in the list: everything you need, for all occasions.
- Antipyretic (“Paracetamol”, “Nurofen”);
- antihistamine (“Alerzin”, “Zodak”, “Eden”, “Erius”). Syrup, tablets or drops depending on age;
- saline solution for the nose;
- vasoconstrictor drops for the nose (0.01% Nazivin, Otrivin, Farmazolin). For children older than 1 year 0.025%;
- means for drinking water for vomiting “(Biogay ORS”, “Human electrolyte”, “Regidron”, “Ionica”);
- “Yunorm” – syrup for vomiting or “Sturgeon” in ampoules, “Susprim syrup”. Dosage according to the active substance 0.15 mg / kg;
- hand sanitizer;
- “Tobrex” (or “Floksal”, chloramphenicol drops) – eye drops;
- “Mupirocin ointment” or another antibiotic ointment
- “Acyclovir” in tablets in case of herpetic gingivostomatitis;
- “Amoxicillin” in suspension 500 mg / 5 ml. This is the most concentrated amoxicillin, so that it is enough for a course of 10-14 days. Perhaps take two vials;
- “Zinat” or “Cefodox” in case of urinary tract infection;
- “Dexamethasone” in ampoules (in the case of acute stenosing laryngotracheitis, a single dose for emergency care is 0.15 mg per kg of body weight. In 1 ml of solution = 4 mg);
- syringes 2.0 and 5.0;
- calamine lotion for sunburn;
- repellent;
- sunscreen;
- emollient;
- regular medicine if the child is prescribed a course of treatment or basic therapy;
- “Smektu”;
- dressing materials;
- aspirator for mucus from the nose (if the baby does not know how to blow his nose).
This kit does not provide instructions for self-treatment for all possible cases.
In a new place, determine the route: where to go in case of an acute illness or injury.
“Do not buy: antiviral drugs, homeopathy, probiotics, immunostimulants, nootropics, hepatoprotectors, interferons in the nose and ass, expectorant slings, magneB6 – do not waste your money,” added Lydia Babich.
