The 1C company announced the release of an updated 1C:Enterprise platform designed to automate workflow processes, accounting, managing enterprises in various fields of activity and solving other tasks in a corporate environment.
In the new version 8.3.21 of the software package, the interaction system has undergone significant improvements, allowing users of 1C:Enterprise client applications to exchange text messages, files, and conduct audio and video conferences. It fixed audio streaming issues during a video call in the thin client, improved the screen sharing mode, improved image quality during a video call in portrait mode, minimized the possibility of unsuccessful connection during video conferencing, and also reduced the load on the processors of low-performance workstations during group video calls in mode galleries.
In addition, 1C programmers implemented authentication using JWT tokens (RFC 7519 standard) and the ability to use client GOST certificates, which simplified integration with government portals and sites that require user authentication with certificates issued by certification centers of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development. It also reports adding support for workstations based on macOS Big Sur 11, improvements to components for Linux platforms and mobile clients, reducing memory consumption by a 1C:Enterprise server cluster in client-server systems with a large number of users, optimizing the operation of individual modules and increasing stability of the software package.
The full list of innovations implemented in the 1C:Enterprise platform version 8.3.21 can be found at v8.1c.ru/platforma/news/novoe-v-platforme-8-3-21 . The product is included in the register of Russian software and is recommended for purchase by domestic companies and government organizations implementing projects in the field of import substitution.
