ZTE has published a teaser anticipating the imminent announcement of the Axon 40 smartphone. Meanwhile, this device appeared in the first “live” photo showing the front side. It is reported that the novelty will debut on May 9. A feature of the device will be the front camera, hidden directly behind the display.
As you can see in the picture below, the screen of the ZTE Axon 40 folds onto the sides of the case. According to rumors, a 6.67-inch OLED panel with Full HD + or 1440p resolution will be used. The under-screen selfie camera will supposedly be based on a 44-megapixel sensor. The triple rear camera can include a 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle unit, and a 5-megapixel component.
The smartphone is credited with the presence of an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, up to 16 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB. Power will be provided by a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast 66-watt charging.
Finally, it talks about using the Android 12 operating system with the proprietary MiFavor UI add-on.
