Prince Charles’ wife is now patron of the National Theatre.
Camilla replaced the Duchess of Sussex Meghan , who has held this post since June 2019, replacing Queen Elizabeth II. In March 2022, the Duchess of Cornwall officially took over the National Theatre. And yesterday, April 27, I visited him personally.
Camilla met with the staff and participants of the public program of the National Theater “Public Acts”. The pictures were published on the theater’s Twitter page, as well as on the accounts of the royal family.
“We were delighted to welcome our Royal Patron, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall, to the National Theatre” today.
An entry also appeared on the Instagram account of Charles and Camilla:
“Since 1963, the National Theater has been sharing unforgettable stories with audiences around the world, empowering artists and artisans, investing in talent and developing new productions with a range of theater companies.”
